The Hospital:
Our client is a Specialist & Emergency Hospital, dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care for small animals and exotic pets. They are a collaborative team in a specialist-owned facility located in the vibrant city of Singapore. The hospital is fully equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including endoscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, radiography, and an in-house laboratory.

The exotics department is led by a boarded ECM specialist, supported by an ECM resident and an associate veterinarian. They provide 24-hour emergency care with the help of the ECC team, and the hospital offers access to specialists in internal medicine, neurology, and surgery.

Position: Exotics Veterinarian

Location:
Singapore, full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities:
As the Associate Exotics Veterinarian, you will:

  • Provide advanced medical care for a variety of exotic species, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
  • Conduct medical examinations, diagnose conditions, and administer treatments.
  • Perform surgical procedures and handle emergency cases.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing compassionate advice and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Singapore.
  • Strong interest in exotic animal medicine.
  • Residency training or board certification in exotics (preferred, but not required).
  • Demonstrated experience working with birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to professional growth in exotic animal medicine and surgery.
