The hospital provides a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including preventive wellness and illness care, vaccinations, parasite prevention, routine and advanced dentistry with digital dental radiographs, general and soft tissue surgery, in-house diagnostics and laboratory testing, digital radiology and ultrasound, nutritional counseling, weight management, microchipping, health certificates, as well as boarding and grooming services. The dedicated team is made up of multiple experienced veterinarians, skilled technicians, and attentive support staff. Together, they foster a collaborative and compassionate culture, ensuring each patient receives high-quality, personalized care while pet owners are kept informed and involved. About This Role:
We are representing a well-established small animal hospital located in Dallas, Texas, known for its commitment to high standards in patient care and a supportive team culture. The hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and wellness services for dogs and cats in a modern, well-equipped facility. As Medical Director, you’ll take a leading role in guiding clinical standards and mentoring veterinary associates while remaining hands-on in patient care. This is a full-time leadership and clinical position, combining oversight responsibilities with day-to-day veterinary work. Your responsibilities will include shaping and upholding the medical quality and direction of the hospital, leading by example in providing high-quality care and client service, supporting and mentoring veterinary associates and clinical staff, and overseeing the implementation of clinical protocols and safety standards. You will also play a key role in maintaining a collaborative, positive team culture, managing hospital workflow to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and engaging in community outreach while building strong client relationships. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory diagnostics. Operating hours are Monday–Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a full-time schedule and occasional rotating weekends. The Offering:
To attract experienced veterinary leaders like you, we offer a flexible and competitive compensation package, typically including a base salary between $200,000–$300,000 depending on experience and qualifications, a Medical Director stipend and annual performance-based bonus, a production bonus structure, and sign-on bonus with relocation support. Additional benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (including infertility benefits), Paid Parental, Vacation, and Sick Leave, a Continuing Education allowance with paid CE days, leadership development support and management training, opportunities to grow into regional or specialty roles if desired, and staff pet care discounts.
